My hope with the Alma series is to encourage children to nurture their relationship with the Lord beginning at a young age; to submit their lives to Him and understand that God can use them for His glory even as young children ~ because all children are precious to the Lord and there is nothing too difficult for Him.

Meet Alma

Our dear Alma lives with her grandparents in a beautiful valley surrounded by lush, green mountains. Next to their little village flows a magnificent river that supplies the purest water for their every need - well... at least it usually does.

In Alma Learns to Trust, find out how Alma and her friends discover the source of mischief that threatens their town and their beautiful river ~ and through it all, how God brings peace in the midst of trials.

Meet the Author

Hi, I’m Lise - Mother of 5 adult children and Granny to 7 grandchildren. I was born and raised in Virginia and wouldn’t want to live anywhere else! When I’m not drinking coffee or enjoying a good book... you’ll find me reading to my grandkids or building forts in the living room for movie nights.

I have a passion for children - a desire to help them truly see how much God loves them. Little ones need to know that their prayers make a difference and God created them to be vessels for His glory... not just when they grow up, but as children too.

“But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.” Luke 18:16
